rockbox v.15989-Database won't detect all songs on Gigabeat F40

(1/1)

hwinnik:
???I recently tried upgrading to the current build (r15989) of Rockbox on my Gigabeat F40 and found that the database initialization did not detect all of my song.  When I reverted to the previous version (r15295-071024) all of my song returned.  What has been done to the current build to prevent it from detecting my songs?

???Also, is there a build I can try that will show album art in icatcher?

Can not help you with the database problem

But any recent build will allow album art. You just have to update the iCatcher WPS as that one (AFAIK at keast) does not support album art. Check the AlbumArt wikipage for more details.

I have the same problem. If I turn off Load into RAM, it works. I think that's what I do anyways, don't have my Gigabeat with me right now so I can look.

There seem to have been changes to the internal database format since r15295 (in r15946 to be exact). You could try exporting the database (to preserve run-time data) using the older build and then re-initialize the database with a recent build (and then importing the exported file).
