Getting music onto player

Im sorry if this has already been discussed in another topic, i forgot to look.

I have a 30GB Ipod Video, i have installed rockbox and edited to my liking, my only problem is, i dont know how to get music onto the player . Can someone help me please .

Any method of moving files will work. Rockbox can browse the filetree, so you can just put them anywhere on the player, as long as you can remember how to get there. I'd recommend against putting them in any hidden folders though (this includes .rockbox).

You didn't say anything about formats previously. What exactly are you asking?

OK, go to http://www.rockbox.org/twiki/bin/view/Main/SoundCodecs#Current_status to see what formats are supported. And, yes, IF THE FORMAT IS SUPPORTED, it should work on rockbox.
