How to foraward a video file?

Can anyone please state the method of forwarding a video file in rockbox.?The only problem in video playing I am facing is that I am unable to forward it.

There is no seeking (fast-forward and rewind) support in Mpegplayer currently.  You can only select where in the file you want to start playback from, which you would have seen at the menu when you go to play a file.
