New iPod mini 1st gen will not turn on or be recognized as a drive

I just got a new 1g mini from my aunt and uncle for christmas.  Ive heard of rockbox so i installed it, it was working fine and I was playing music and then I saw a little icon with a battery on it.  I now cannot turn it on and i can't mount it.  Any ideas?

Plug it into the wall and charge it for a few hours, then try resetting it (not sure what they key combo is (menu + select?), it is on these boards, try a search) then forcing it into disk mode.  It sounds like you are low on battery.

nvm just unplugged it and reset, it works!!!!!!
