Replacement rockboxable DAP for Trekstor Vibez

My Trekstor has broken beyond repair -- which of the Rockbox-supported DAPs have the best sound quality a la Trekstor & are currenty still on the market?

In terms of the SQ - it appears from other forums that the Cowon X5L is the one to go for.

Is it possible to charge the Cowon via an AC USB wall charger?

Also, is the gapless playback allowed by Rockbox reliant on the use of OGG or FLAC as a file type?

Thats not really true.  Theres not much difference between most players.

Assuming you have one, sure.  An AC to USB adapter will charge any MP3 player with an internal battery.

Rockbox plays back nearly all gapless formats gaplessly.  I think the only exception is WMA.

Not true of the iRiver h1x0 series - they won't charge over usb.
