Even though I would really like to get my mitts on an iAUDIO X5, I can't afford to spend the nearly $300 USD that many eBay sellers are asking. So I may end up getting a Gigabeat F after the holidays.

I have used a Gigabeat for comparison to the ipod 5g and the ipod5g is very slow. I dont even use my ipod anymore.

Slow in what way? Do you just mean video and APE?
