Weird backlight behaviour in ipod video 80GB

Hi all

I just updated my rockbox build on my ipod video from a late october build to the current one.

The backlight doesn't seem to work properly at all anymore. It comes  on while the ipod is booting a bit then goes off once it's finished and stays off no matter how much I fiddle with the backlight settings or reset the ipod.

However, if I reset all my settings and then boot into rockbox, everything works perfectly. I've tried booting with resetted settings and restoring my old settings from a cfg file but it just reintroduces the problem on a reboot.

Am I stuck with having to enter all my settings in by hand again?

This is not an "Installation" question. Please read POSTING IN THIS FORUM in a sectino before posting in the future.

And you can remove all the backlight settings from your .cfg, then load it, and set those manually and they should be fine from then on.
