convert scrobbler.log to scrobbler-timeless.log

if i listen to lots of music on my ipod and then listen to one more song at home with amarok, that songs gets scrobbled and i can't submit all the music that i listened to on my ipod anymore. now if i would be able to convert .scrobbler.log to .scrobbler-timeless.log that would be possible.

is there a way to do that?

http://www.rockbox.org/twiki/bin/view/Main/LastFMLog discusses the major Last.FM log submission programs.  Most of them allow you to fake the time stamps of your iPod's log.  BUT QTScrobbler supports the 1.2 protocol - which means you can submit out-of-order - solving your concerns in a more elegant way.

soap, thanks for mentioning QTScrobbler.   I've been having so many annoying problems with LogScrobbler and QTScrobbler simply works.

dito. i always used the online-scrobbling-tool, but it's annoying to always choose the logfile and delete it afterwards...

It is a pretty nice program that works flawlessly and even allow you to alter the datetime. This is handy if you had listened something in a computer before updating the file in the rockbox device...



On more thing...

Is there any plan to make the scrobbler log work with CUE tracks?

The point of QTScrobbler's use of protocol 1.2 is you don't need to alter the playtime for valid submissions in this situation.
