Upgrade gigabeat f10 to f30

I have the  MK2004GAL hard drive and Im wondering if I can use the parts from that hd to repair a  MK3006GAL model. They are all over ebay for 99cents (with undeclared problems) so I started if it would be possible to repair trade the 30GB platter into my  MK2004GAL.
Does anyone know if there are other parts that differ besides the platter?

Unless you work for a hard drive recovery company, you have absolutely no hope of repairing a hard drive.  The tolerences are unbelievable, you need a very high grade clean room... the list goes on.  It isn't going to happen.
