Gigabeat F40 Button Assignments?

The Toshiba firmware allowed you to set the buttons to do a variety of processes. Does Rockbox allow you to do the same? I can't find any information on this if so.

I'm specifically looking to be able to assign a button to turn Shuffle on and off.

Rockbox doesn't allow custom button assignments unless you're willing to modify the source and make your own build with the changes you want.

However, for your particular case have you looked at the quickscreen? On most targets this should allow you to switch shuffle on/off with two button presses.

The easiest way on any player is to hold the menu button till the quick menu comes up then press left to turn shuffle on, then press menu again
