Messed up my iPod

garbage:
I decided to uninstall rockbox from my ipod nano so i opened the command propt program and pressed u to uninstall and then went to my ipod folders and deleted the folder .rockbox and now when i plug in my ipod to my computer, itunes no longer recognizes it. Wtf?

bumber, similer thing happend to me. why did you uninstall rockbox? try pluging it into another computer you tried it on, if this does'nt work then ask a ipod expert for help.  If he says it's your fault then go to another store and say youre ipod ran out of battery.  Then you can rebuy another one fresh out of the box, but for like £20.

Febs:
It shouldn't be necessary to defraud an iPod store.  Unless there is an actual hardware problem, you should be able to put the iPod in disk mode and then restore using iTunes.
