problems with ape, flac, mpeg, avi files
(1/1)
SiLenc3:
people
I hope to have chosen the right place to post this question ..
I will be brief ...
I have an Ipod 30gb (video), just the day before yesterday I put us on the infamous Rockbox, all ok, put some ape files (compression standard) and other Flac but skipping during playback frighteningly, or, 2 seconds es'interrompe audio and then resume no earlier than other 2 seconds ... unthinkable ..
As for movies ... stendo a pitiful veil, and for the fathers that mpeg (size not exceeding 25mb) does nothing more than take for the entire duration ..
The idea of being able to listen to these formats on my ipod but fascinated me, so I am really xxxxxx ...
Sapreste explain why?
Thanks
I returned to the original software of ipod ...
forgive my bad english, please...

Llorean:
APE is too complex to play full speed on an iPod. Skipping is expected.
FLAC should play fine, though. Try changing themes and see if that helps.
AVI files aren't supported.
Did you create the MPEG file as the directions in the wiki stated? I can't tell what you're saying is wrong with that, so I don't know how to help you.
