e280R won't play with normal sound & missing folders

<< < (3/5) > >>

peedoe:
They are all done via WMP using WMA 9.2 at VBR 10% (44KHz).  I don't need high quality since it is audio book files.

Bitrates:
Files 1 &10 are 32kbps
Files 2-9 are 30kbps.

TIA,
Randy

safetydan:
Not directly solving your problem, but if you're encoding audio books you might want to look at Speex instead of WMA. Speex is designed for voice encoding and should give you smaller files at higher quality. It's also well supported in Rockbox.

peedoe:
I would give it a shot, but it isn't one of my choices within Tunebite.
But if the .wma's I have play fine in WMP & Sansa OS, why can't they play fine using Rockbox?

safetydan:
The Rockbox WMA decoding code is young. It may still have issues playing back certain WMA files.

peedoe:
Is there a utility that would convert my .wma's to speex?  What extension does speex use?
