80gb iPod Video, line-in, monitoring.

Hi all,
I have an 80gb iPod Video running rockbox, using a pair of Westone UM2 earphones. Very happy with it. I have Rockbox set up with specific EQ settings (using both the hardware EQ and the graphical eq). I am a sound engineer and would love to be able to check mixes in real-time thru my iPod, with these same EQ settings that I am used to. I know that line-in can be achieved thru the bottom dock connector, but;
1. Will any of these line-in accessories work with Rockbox?
2. If so, will I be able to set it up so I am monitoring the line-in (without actually recording) with the EQ settings that I have set for playback active?
Hope this makes sense.
Gary.

Please correct me if I am wrong, but I believe that listening back to a Line-In source is currently not supported unless you're "recording".
Of course you can simply leave the recording on "pause", select line in, and listen back to the inputs on your headphones.
That being said, EQ is currently not supported while recording. So no, you cannot use your iPod as an external EQ/Headphone-Amp.
Hope this helps.

"iPod as an external EQ/Headphone-Amp" - now why didn't I think of explaining it that way? :) Thanks for the info. Shame it can't do it...
Gary.
AlexP:
It might be able to do it hardwear-wise (I don't know), it just can't at the moment (rockbox-wise).
