You're right, thanks for that link..I see exactly what you mean!  I think I read instructions somewhere showing cylindrical (AA-shaped) batteries, a pair on each side under the blue corner bumpers, but I think that must have been for a different model.

You guys are great, thank you for the helping hand!!  Time to open this bad boy up and see what the deal is.
