iAudio 7

stezo:
Hi there, As far as I can tell the iAudio 7 is the best option for an Ogg/linux compatible flash player. However, the lack of gapless playing is a killer. Is there any indication that there will be a Rockbox port for this player to support gapless playing?
Thanks for the great work.

Why? If you run Rockbox all but the Archos units automagically become 'Ogg/linux compatible'. So if you really want a flash player it's a toss-up between the iPod nano and the Sansa.

stezo:
Neither of those offer 16GB options as far as I know.

What's the consensus on maximum capacity Rockbox supported HD players by the way?

Llorean:
Currently the largest known HD for a Rockbox software-codec player is 80gb.

Currently the largest flash player is 8GB + 6GB of MicroSDHC, with that expanding as newer cards will come out.

Not counting modifications of HD based players to use compactflash cards, etc.

Thanks for that.

Which players are these exactly? Sorry for being thick, I'm not an expert in this area.

Is there any chatter about whether the iAudio 7 will be RockBoxed anytime soon?
