Sansa c240 - Database issues

That is very odd.

What USB mode is the Sansa in when you transfer files?

where do i check to see what mode it's in?

I'm not sure, it should be in the original firmware somewhere.  I don't have a Sansa so I can't look.  The choice should be MSC or MTP (although I believe one or two versions of the firmware didn't have this choice - check out the manual installation instructions and http://www.rockbox.org/twiki/bin/view/Main/SansaC200Port#No_MSC_Mode_Firmware_Downgrade_R to see what mode)

I just forced it into MSC mode (Hold down the left button while plugging in) There i made a folder and added my music to it and the sansa now detects it in the file tree and the database.
