Hardware Equalizer newer builds?
« on: December 11, 2007, 08:00:27 PM »
Hi all,

My first post on this forum having recently bought an iPod Video 80gb and a set of UM2 earphones. Very happy!  :) I'm after some clarification re the equalizer settings.

Am I right in thinking that the high and low shelf settings of what used to be the Hardware Equalizer are now controlled by the Bass/Bass Cutoff and Treble/Treble cutoff settings in the main Sound Settings menu? So the cutoff settings 1-4 correspond to the frequencies that used to be available?

Cheers,

Gary.

The high and low shelf settings are now indeed treble and bass respectively. The middle peak filters are gone. They never actually worked anyway so were removed.
