Sansa not booting after format (was: Help!!!!)
zajacattack:
The format probably failed. Windows has a tendency to do that.
gigman:
I guess I will try and put rockbox back on it and see if it starts up faster. Thanks for all your help. I was really scared for a fex minutes there.
zajacattack:
My pleasure. I'm glad it works now, and I hope you re-install rockbox successfully.
gigman:
Sorry to re open the thread but I didn't want to make a new one... My sansa is just like now now with the of working fine ;), but I want rockbox back andbecause of the failed format all of the old rockbox files that I need to remove are "locked" on there. When I try to delete the files it says that it cannot complete command because the device has either been disconnected or had stopped responding, but when I try to do somthing else with it, it works fine. when I try to open any of the rockbox folders it says that they are corrupted. Any ideas?
