Regarding Doom, you need to download the WAD files in order to play:

Rockbox can play AAC files provided that they aren't infected with DRM. Use the Database in Rockbox to find them on the disk.

mike_302, please ask your questions in the appropriate forum.  This thread now has absolutely nothing to do with installation of Rockbox on an iPod.  Please also check the manual and the wiki before starting a new topic.  The answer to your question can be found in those places.
