HELP! 5th Gen 30GB iPod Problems

Alright so, I've been using both rockbox and the regular iPod software for some time now. I recently updated both on my iPod but it won't seem to let me boot into rockbox anymore. Are other people experiencing the same problem? Can it be fixed?

Reinstall the bootloader. Updating the Apple firmware removes it.
