Halo 3 Rockbox Theme

I have recently made a Halo 3 Theme for the Rockbox.

Just so you know, unless those images are under a license allowing you to freely redistribute them (which I seriously doubt), you cannot distribute this theme.

Even if the pics weren't copyrighted, dude, you gotta provide a background to the text so it can be viewed.
Don't get me wrong if you saw my themes I'm all aboot style over functionality but you're throwing functionality right out the window here.

What, I didn't quite get that, and those images were gotten off of google.. made by other people... NOT copyrighted. Sorry about the background no text color works.

And also have you seen the windows media player theme? Think that isn't copyrighted.. lol. Copyrighting isn't an issue, they select what themes they want to be posted. Job Van Dam, have you posted any of your themes? Also, I used a theme emulator to get the pictures, the text colors are not white over white.

copyrighting IS an issue. the fact that some people posted themes using copyrighted material on the wiki does not make it less of an issue. quite contrary.

An image (or any creative work) is copyrighted whether notice is posted or not. Just because you found them on Google doesn't mean anything at all.

I don't upload my themes cause there meant for me, and like I said there style over functionality.

Check out this one though, see how there's a background to the text so you can easily see it? Just drop the opacity a smidge coupled with a little imagination and it can still look very good despite the main image getting covered up.

OK, please do not insult him. He has every right to post a theme he made, as long as it is not copyrighted. You have no right, responsibility, duty, or freedom to tell him to not post themes. You cannot express your opinion, nothing more.
