XP "Found new hardware" prompt when connected

I get the "found new hardware" prompt in XP when i plug in the e280r while it's booted in the Rockbox firmware. I cant find a suitable driver to satiate xp's needs. However when i plug the player in the usb while it's turned off it will recognize it as a storage device.

does anyone else experience this? is there a driver out there that fixes this so that i can avoid turning off the player before plugging it into the comp?

No USB support yet, use the original firmware by plugging it in while it's off for charging and tranferring files.
