Quick word of thanks

Just a quick mail to say thanks.

I have only just got into the MP3 thing always thought it unsuitable for me; but having heard EAC/Lame at a friends studio I realise times have moved on and it’s now a fantastic source for music.

I’ve had the odd technical hic-cup with things, and have come to rely on various forums like this one for help.
I just wanted to say how much gratitude I owe you kind of guys and/or girls.
I think it’s amazing that I’ve always had things I didn’t understand or got wrong sorted by people I don’t know or will probably never meet.
I think this is wonderful and makes me realise how good the human race can be.

I especially wanted to say how impressed I am with Rockbox.
I’m an ex sound engineer; and I set up white noise and a reference mic last night to look at the results of your sound settings.
Fantastic. The parametric EQ is a work of art; it’s accurate and does what you want it to. The filters too.
Basically I’m totally blown away by your software; I love the interface options, and finally have a database that works!

I will encourage everyone I know to try and get Rockbox
