iPod Classic 160GB Support News?

Hi, sorry if this is in the wrong place.  I was just wondering if there is any news from the developers as to whether or not there will be support for the iPod Classic 160GB?  I was thinking of getting one for Christmas but if there is no word on support for it for Rockbox I'll probably leave it till prices come down and stick to my trusty 30GB Video.

I don't believe that anyone is working on a port.  You would find news of any progress in the New Ports forum or by using the Search function.

Ah I see, thanks for the word and the tip.  Hopefully someone might decide to try a port soon, it looks an awesome gadget to have.

Unfortunately, Apple chose to change the architecture and to be less open than ever, from what I've read here, which would only make porting more difficult.
