See, when I do things like this, and it goes wrong - I assume it must be my fault, and that I didn't read the instructions properly. You, however, have assumed it was our fault.
Whether it actual was or wasn't (and I'll maintain it wasn't - we know this is a fault in Apple's flash firmware on the iPod, which we never touch) isn't the issue - it's just a bit of an aggressive note to start off on when you're asking for help...
