you killed my ipod :(
weetsie:
installed rockbox, all working fine, went to database, wanted to create a database or something, 7000 files later, asks to reboot, shuts down, hasn't turned on since, tried plugging into pc and nothing, all there is is a faint noise when you put it next to your ear, no hard-drive activity or anything else.
bascule:
It's probably flat. Recharge overnight and try again
AlexP:
It is next to impossible to kill an iPod, so please refrain from emotional claims like that until we have investigated a little. Â I suspect a dead battery like Bascule. Â Try plugging it into the wall (not a pc) to charge for a long time (I'm talking hours), then try the reset button config.
weetsie:
i know for sure it had full battery, i don't have a wall charger and i cant charge on pc because when i plug it in it doesn't recognize it.
AlexP:
When did it have full battery? If it is before you started database update? If so, it is quite possible the battery is now flat. If you don't have a wall charger plug it into the pc and leave it for a long time.
