How to connect iPod?

Hello again,

I have an iPod 30GB Video black and now, I wonder how I should connect it when rockbox is installed on it.

I always used Amarok, so I won't change that. On http://amarok.kde.org/wiki/Media_Device:IPod#Using_an_iPod_running_Rockbox_with_Amarok
I can read that I should declare the pod as "Generic Audio Player", and so I did. But I can't put a video on it with this setting, so I changed back to iPod. I then could put a video on it, but I couldn't find it because of missing meta data (name etc). When I tried to change this on the iPod, Amarok told me that it can't save the changes.

I know that this is also related to Amarok, but as I have problems with covers and rockbox (which will be solved soon), I though it might be a good idea to post that here.

Can somebody help me? I don't want to transfer over 25GB of music several times, so I wonder which is the correct setting.
