Rockpaint and bmp on Sansa

Just installed Rockbox in a e280R. The pictures that come in the unit (all bmp) do not load on Rockpaint (it gives a load error) even though it displays fine with the original rhapsody fw.

Is this normal behavior? Apologies if this has been answered before, but I searched and found nothing about it.

"BMP loader: Handle top-down BMP files (height is negative). Note that the e200 example pictures still don't work, as they are larger than the screen (not a loader problem)."

I don't know if this also applies to rockpaint or not, however.  Maybe someone else does.
