I have's downloads some simulator , but I don't know how to use these simulator to play music file or some movie .

could someone to help me ?

cool_walking_:
The same way you would on a target.  Start the simulator with "./rockboxui --background", and you will get a picture of the key mappings.

psycho_maniac:
the files have to be in this directory: "NAME OF SIMULATOR"-sim-w32\archos\" Examples:
ipod-video-sim-w32\archos\
toshiba-gigabeatF-sim-w32\archos\
ipod-nano-sim-w32\archos\

blueskip:
temp_codec0.dll is not a valid windows image

Is there a workaround for this?

I can't seem to get it to stop giving me this error when trying to play a file on the simulator.

Trying to play an AAC/M4A file? If so, something like this can happen.
