Disk Menu
« on: November 29, 2007, 09:48:49 PM »
Hey all. I wanted to change my Directory Cache settings, but I cannot find the "Disk" menu. It is not located under General Settings/System as one would expect. I have the latest version of rockbox.

Thanks,
Kenneth Anderson

Where do you see a reference to a "Drive" menu? You want General Settings -> System -> Disk -> Directory Cache.

Whoops, sorry. I meant "Disk". I'll edit that.

Which player? AFAIK the flash-based players (iPod nano, Sansa e200 series) do not have that function.

I see. That would explain it then. I have an e260. The reason why I wanted to change the setting is because whenever I would access a music file through the database it would go through and 'search' all the files (displaying the word 'searching' and counting until all files were found).
