Is there a line-in wired in?

If there is, the Sandisk firmware/accessories don't use it.

Edit:  Soap sent me this link:

http://www.chargeconverter.com/shop/connnopod.htm

If you want to look for recording, the break out board there would be an obvious way to see if any of the pins work as line in.

I'm happy to report that I turned off the Shuffle and now my c200v2 will continue to play music after the first full song and after a track skip. Before, my c200v2 would stop playing after the first song played through or after a track skip. Now, however, with Shuffle off, it will continue to play without stopping.

EDIT - Ooops, I spoke too soon. My c200v2 plays more than one track, but stops after about the 3rd track.

DBOP_DIN9 changes when a fuze dock (which uses external power to pull the dock pin high so scanning isn't needed) changes.  But thats also GPIOB7, which apparently did not change according to that thread, so I'm a little confused.

We're currently only configuring those pins for output for which we know there's a button on it so the dock pin might go invisible in the debug screen. With bertrik's dbop patch, we won't be reading buttons from GPIO but only via DBOP anymore though.

I need some tests on targets other than e200v2 for this:

About the people reporting c200v2 bootloader doesn't work: rockbox reads buttons with DBOP while mkamsboot still use GPIOC.

Adapting mkamsboot to use DBOP might be worth a try (paying _special_ care of course)

bertrik do you feel like doing it ?

I don't think that's critical. Wasn't there 1 or 2 buttons which can be read with GPIO on the c200v2?

DBOP is a bit more complex, especially in asm. Could we compile the isolated dbop read function from C code and incorparate that?

It seems it just doesn't work right according to multiple posts on this thread.

I don't think writing this code in assembly is complex (the function is lcd_dbop_read() )

I just wanted to let all you guys who've worked on the Sansa e200 v2 port that it is so far working GREAT on my 4 gig e200 v2. I've not tested the voice menus yet, but so far all I've tried works well.

I do have a question: though it's not a big deal for me I'd be curious to know if there is a way to limit the FM radio to only those channels available in the US (or whatever jurisdiction the listener is in).

Thanks a bunch!

I originally purchased the sansa because of an online review I saw of Rockbox running on the Sansa e200, only to find that Rockbox didn't work on the v2 (I hadn't previously known there WAS a v2), so I'm now very pleased to see it working. Your efforts are appreciated.

Anyone got any ideas for me here?  When I try to run the sd cards at 31 Mhz now it seems I'm up and running but all the text is missing on the screen.  I get nice color icons and I can browse the files on both disks, but all the text is blank.  If I select a playlist I can get album art to display but music will not play.  Anyone been here before?

EDIT:
@Fredex:

Long select (press & hold disk inside wheel)FM Radio:  then go down to region and short select.

Is speed implemented yet on c250 v2? (ie independent of pitch).

This isn't specific to the c200v2, but is implemented for all models (including this one).

However as playback is broken on c200v2 you might not enjoy it at the moment.

Following the recent AMS SD-related commits (the ones that started with r23829), my 8GB Fuze (+8GB Class 2 SanDisk microSDHC card) now often hangs on the startup screen displaying the build. A hard reset is required to exit.

I've also experienced a couple instances of audio output stopping seemingly randomly. At these points, the backlight still works, the WPS continues to display elapsed time, and the progress bar continues to move as normal, but the player is unresponsive to any further button presses. Again, a hard reset must be performed to exit. When I restart the player and resume playback, it returns to the song and section that was playing before the previous startup, acting as though none of the playback done during the session with the hang-up ever happened.

I'm on r23842 at the moment. Has this behavior appeared for anyone else? I will post a bug report if so.

yes, I've been having that issue too. I can't even get past that screen without reinstalling rockbox.  :-\

I had that happen to mine today. I finally removed the card, booted, powered off, re-installed the card and all is well.
