Maybe Rincewind has an idea how to accomodate you? I'll stay until sunday so we could do some sight-seeing in Karlsruhe ;-) (but I still need to organize an accomodation for myself as my first one didn't work ... so I can't help you with that atm, unfortunately)

I live in a studentenwohnheim, it is possible to accomodate you, if you don't mind sleeping in a 12m² room with me. I have a spare mattrass I can put on my floor. You would have to bring a sleeping bag.
