Debugging the source

Hi,

I'm having a look at the source code and was wondering how I can print to the stdout or stderr when using the UI Simulator. Is there a compile switch I need to activate or do I need to something a bit more complicated? How do the devs debug Rockbox?

I use DEBUGF(), works just like printf
