Some help Getting Rockbox
« on: November 26, 2007, 03:59:19 AM »
Hi all- Noobie here,

I just bought a Sandisk Sansa e250, and I thought it was Outstanding- Until I found Rockbox and the manual listing the features on my player.

Problem is the US Army is ok with me visiting the forum and reading the manual online but I can't download the actual install of Rockbox.  And the only internet I have now (in Afghanistan) is courtesy the US Army..
I was able to download the sansa installer from other sites but all links to Rockbox won't let me download.

Would anyone be willing to email me the current build for a Sansa e250 (NOT "R")???

Thanks in advance!!!

Done, enjoy!

I had to password the file in order for hotmail to send it, the password is "rockbox".  Any problems, let me know.

MUCHISIMAS (That's a lot more than Muchas) Gracias!!

I really appreciate it-
I had asked my wife to send it but apparently she didn't figure out the password thing, she was told Hotmail wouldnt send it at all.

Again, thanks!

Yeah, hotmail tries to scan inside zips, and it falls over on all the stuff inside the rockbox.zip.  I put a password on it so that hotmail wouldn't be able to scan, and therefore not fall over.  In order to do that I unzipped then rezipped it, so I hope I didn't mess it up - if it doesn't work let me know.

Worked fine, I was Rockin' in seconds.

I just found out that at least 2 people from work also have e200's, so I'm passing it along to them as well.

Thanks again!
