Nope that didn't work either same problem.

Anything else I could do?

GodEater:
You can either restore it with iTunes, or do the ManualRestore procedure from the wiki.

firefoxobsession:
I don't want to get linux on my computer to take rockbox off or restore my iPod.

What I want is someway that you can help me take it off without changing anything (or at least nothing major)

If you are a coder then try coding me a new patcher or make me a bootloader that has apple firmware as primary.

A restore would be considered major.

You don't need it "on" your computer - just run a LiveCD.

Well that would be using the ManualRestore method then.

A new patcher that is different from the old one how ? There are already bootloaders out there which default to the apple firmware, and if you don't like those, you could even use iPL's bootloader (although we don't support it here). I find your attitude a little insulting to be honest - we're not here at your beck and call - all the work we do is voluntary, and unpaid, and supplied in good faith to the rest of the world for no charge. I do not feel I owe you anything else - I've already stated there's a way to do what you want without doing an iTunes restore. The fact you choose not to do it is your problem - not mine.

How ?

firefoxobsession:
I'm not interested in getting linux.

If you could tell me where I could get a bootloader that loads apple first, then I would be fine with that.

Also, I don't quite understand the iPL one, so that's a bit too complicated.

By the way, I'm sorry for being rude and offending you if I did.
