Can't uninstall bootloader even in disk mode. (80 gb 5.5g iPod)
firefoxobsession:
I got rockbox on my 80gb 5.5g iPod and recently I thought that there was really no big use for me and it took a long time to reset to the Apple firmware, which I used much more often. At some point the features stopped working and I wanted to get rid of it. using the rockbox install kit, I removed the files and it worked fine. But when I chose to remove the firmware it didn't work. (It said It could not find the iPod even though iTunes and my computer both picked it up.
I tried it again in disk mode, and again, it didn't work (the same thing happened), but it was okay everywhere else.
What do I do? ???
Please help me.

what do you mean "it was ok everywhere else" ? maybe you have a 6th gen ipod?
firefoxobsession:
I mean it still worked on iTunes and my computer picked it up as drive :F
And I'm 100% sure it's a 5.5g, because i bought it on November 19, 2006
Also, rockbox worked on it, but rockboy stopped working, which was all I ever used, so I decided to just stop using rockbox altogether.
psycho_maniac:
try using this program: http://www.rockbox.org/twiki/bin/view/Main/RockboxUtility. im not sure if this will let you uninstall but i usuall refer people to this program when RockboxUtilityQT does not work for them.
firefoxobsession:
Alright thanks I'll try that
