[help me] .patches and .diffs...

i didnt under stand the page of how you apply .diffs and .patchs.
could someone write me a small guide of how to apply .diffs?
(i have both programs of GNU)

The Wiki page exists for a reason.  People helping you are just going to be re-stating what is already in the Wiki.  If there's a specific instruction on the Wiki page that you don't understand, say so, and it can be clarified.

Just to make sure we're on the same page, you should have already set up a build environment, and then learn how to patch.
