Good EQ sound settings?
safetydan:
@TexasRockbox, the hardware equalizer of the iPod has been removed. It never worked right anyway. The settings that were previously controlled by the high and low shelf have been moved to the treble and bass settings.
@Savage, I don't think equalizer settings are going to help you. Sounds like more of an amp or speaker issue. Are you using the line out socket (does the Gigabeat even have one?)?

How are you hooking it up to your PC?
Savage:
The GB has a LineOut in the cradle. So I got a 3.5mm cable and a splitter. Put the splitter in the speaker output of my pc and then plugged the GB and pc stereo into the splitter.
It can't be a speaker issue because it sounds great when playing my songs in Realplayer.
Does that help you guys?
Febs:
I can't follow that explanation. You're plugging the Gigabeat line out into a speaker *output* via a splitter?!
Savage:
No the splitter is in my pc tower. Then I just use a 3.5mm cord from it to my GB cradle. Make sense?
