Good EQ sound settings?

(1/4) > >>

Savage:
I think I remember seeing some settings for a nice sounding RB'd player.  Mine did sound decent but I messed with the settings and now I can't get the bottom end to come back up - sounds BAD.
Can someone suggest some settings or if you know the chart I'm talking about could you please link me.  I can't find it and it sounds like poo.

Thank you!

If you have an iPod this thread comes to mind.

Savage:
Thank you for the link but I don't think thats it as I don't have an ipod.  I have a Tosh. Gigabeat.
Hopefully someone else will chime in with the info I'm thinking of.   :)

Generally EQ settings are specific to your headphones, not your audio player, so its unlikely anyone here is going to be able to give you good advice.

That said, if you're not finding an improvement with EQ, it may be that you don't need to use EQ.

It was sounding pretty good on my headphones, pc stereo system, home stereo, and my auto system.  I think when I went into the preset audio like Classical and such is when it went downhill.  And now I can't seem to get it back to where it was.
Sounds like cr ap on all my systems.  Very crackly and distorted!
