problems playing big musics in iPod 5g 30GB

it happens only when i try to play songs with about 1 hour duration
when i press play, it freezes ><
after that, the only way to use iPod is resetting it (holding Select + Menu)

i tried to adjust the buffer limits, without success

i installed rockbox yesterday, using "current build", so i think my rockbox is updated

can anyone help me?

What format is the song in? If is is AAC, then it is a known problem, unfortunately. Certain songs can make it freeze... Buffer limits are not involved at all.

is there a program to convert AAC to mp3 (or any other format that works)?
