Installing/e200R - Not Prompted by Windows to Begin Process

I downloaded e200rpatcher.exe, downloaded & unzipped e2000-manufac-driver.zip both to my Documents file (C drive), attached Sansa device using hold switch and select button and nothing happens (my computer just announces "new hardware found".

Problem:  Windows does not prompt me for a driver.  Did I download the manu-driver unzipped file to the wrong location?

Pls help as I'd love to have a bookmark on my downloaded audiobooks.  TKS!

What happens if you click on the "New Hardware Found" message?  It shouldn't matter where you download the files as long as you remember where you put them.

Is the device in Manufacturer Mode?

I had this problem to. The solution is rather simple. You need to install the program libusb onto your computer. Just go to the link below and download the .exe file.

Also, even if windows does not prompt for the driver, I think you need to install it manually. Open the folder, right click on the inf file, and click install. Please, correct me if I'm wrong.
