Disable dual boot for Ipod 4th grey

Is there a way to disable the option to boot into the Apple OS by setting the hold button to on?  I always turn the hold button on when I shut down and I usually forget to remove the hold when I put it in my docking station which causes it to boot into the Apple OS.  

I'm running Rockbox on an Ipod 4th gen / grey scale
Rockbox version: 15470-071105

You could do it by modifying the source code for the bootloader and recompiling... but reconsider doing so, because you'll lose your only source of USB connectivity if you do so!

disk mode will still be available (although it's slower than the appleos transfer)
