Sansa c250 - cannot get to original firmware; computer does not recognize device

I was able to successfully load the bootloader, but, somehow after I changed the database settings to Auto Update and then turned my c250 off while the database was initializing, it started to freeze up.  The next time I turned it on it was frozen on the SanDisk splash screen.  Now I cannot get to the original firmware and the screen comes up as a black screen with "Rockbox boot loader Version 4.0 Sandisk Sansa c200".  I would like to uninstall the firmware and get back to the original firmware but my computer no longer recognizes the device.

Problem fixed.  I was able to get into recovery mode.
