Freezing up on video

My e250 is freezing up when I try to load (now converted, thanks to this forum's help) mpg's and play them. I can get a "loading" screen but the video never plays. They work on the hard drive before I transfer them over, so I know it's not a video problem. Any troubleshooting tips out there?

You might want to post the parameters you used when you transcoded the files.  Does "Elephants Dream" play properly?
