But did you have it before? What was this "Rockbox 2.5" you were talking about then?

egb:
I had two files.  One was .rockbox and the other was .rockbox 2.5, I believe.  I apparently overwrote the .rockbox and deleted the old 2.5.  When you asked me what version, I saw 2.5.  If I could see the screen I would be able to tell you what it was actually loading.

If you rename or remove the ajbrec.ajz file, what happens?

egb:
The unit locked up and will not power down.  I can still read from it.
