What does that command do?

It displays the partition layout of all the disks attached to your computer - this may help identify what device you have (this is part of the detection algorithm used by sansapatcher/rbutilqt).

The Sansa v2 doesn't provide the capability of changing the USB mode. that's another of the v2's problems. unless anyone know's a magic button to push, you're stuck in MTP mode.

You can change to USB Mode:
1. switch off your Sansa e280v2
2.switch ON the hold button
3.press the |

got a new idear: My sansa has its Radio disabled by firmware because it's the German version, maybe thats the problem.

Ok it works now :) I downloaded Sansalinux and used the sansapatcher included in their archive, and now all 3 OS are working. (or at least trying to boot, as faar as sansalinux is concerned)
