Eehm yes, but that wasn't the same as my problem at all...never mind...

1) Which version of Windows are you using (XP, Vista, ...) ?

2) Does your Sansa appear as a drive letter (e.g. E: ) when you connect it to your computer?

You could also try running sansapatcher - it's an alternative program to install the bootloader.  A download link and instructions are in the manual.

I use Win XP Service pack 2 (with all .net frameworks) and yes it appears as F: . I have already tired sansapatcher and it also sais "no sansa found". I think its a new version because the whele is different from the old one, as you can see on the pictures i've uploaded above.

Maybe you could take it apart and compare the internals to the pictures here: http://www.anythingbutipod.com/archives/2006/03/sandisk-sansa-e200-series-review.php

lawl sorry its brand new so I definitely wont take it appart, think of warranty....

Do you have access to a Linux machine?  If so, it would be useful if you connect your Sansa, and then (as the root user) type:

fdisk -l > disks.txt

and then attach the resulting disks.txt file to a message here.

Someone on IRC looked at your photo, and thinks it is identical to his E250.  Your packaging also doesn't mention Audible files, which I understand to be a new feature of the V2 players.

ähm not now, i'm currently having a bit of trouble with my paralell ubuntu system, but is should soon be back up....
