where to find source code of plugins?

I don't know how to code in C yet but I do have some experience in VB and I'm willing to learn, so I thought it might be handy to check some plugins out
to see how they are written.

so where can i find them?

you can set up a dev environment and download the entire source, here are some instructions:

Or you can check out svn.rockbox.org/trunk where you will find an index of the source and you can download the plugin files individually.
