How do I watch video?

I got my Toshiba F40 Rockboxed.  Saved one of my video's from my pc to it BUT when it plays it plays just like a song.  No video.  What am I doing wrong?

OK, I got a vid converted to mpg and it's playing on my pc and it looked like it was going to play on my f40.  Got a black screen and then it stated:
missing packet start code prefix : 30B2

How do I fix?

I've had that error a few times, and it's always been with a different file that then works the next time I play it.  If your file keeps giving you this error, I reckon the devs would probably be interested in it (MpegPlayer is a pretty new plugin).

EDIT: ehm... are you using a current build?

How exactly did you make the mpeg files?

Could you make a small movie and host it somewhere for us to see what's wrong?

I use this method to encode mpgs and have no problems (Linux)  So far I've mostly gone from avi or flv to mpg files (junk from youtube).

ffmpeg -i [inputfilename] -s 320x240 -vcodec mpeg2video -b 200 -ab 192 -ac 2 -ar 44100 -acodec mp3 [outfilename]

These parameters work for the Gigabeat player.  Modify the 320x240 to your players resolution.  Specify your input/output file names WITH extensions (.mpg for output) and path.

Update:  My Gigabeat plays mpg video's.  I came across one and it worked.
But I don't know how to convert MY vids that are on my pc that I made thru Windows Movie Maker into mpg.  Can it be done?
